Financial payment information is only gathered when a customer purchases a skydive. In this case, the information is either securely held by PayPal or you make a BACS transfer to us. We do not do not store credit card details nor do we share details with any 3rd parties.

Data can be collected and processed during the operations of our website and in hard copy at our offices or by other agencies directly associated with us for parachute training for example:

Skydive Academy, Peterlee Parachute Club, the Britsh parachute Association, the United States Parachute Association, The Timisoara Parachute Club and at any Drop Zone we may operate from in Europe and the USA . The following are ways we may perform these actions:

1.1 Data regarding your visit(s) to our website and any resources used are collected.  The following is included and not limited to: location data, weblogs, traffic data, and any other communication information.

1.2 Any forms you filled out on our site or in hard copy at the DZ or in our offices (see above) that allows us to collect data such as registering for information, joining the club or the BPA or when you complete a booking or contact form.

For example:

Prior to Parachuting & Skydiving participants need to provide certain information – that being name address, email address, contact telephone number (preferably a mobile), their Date of Birth, Weight, Height & Gender and contact details for a nominated emergency contact, all of which in the event of injury or incident will likely be passed to the emergency services & appropriate governing/investigating bodies. Otherwise such Data will routinely be recorded, processed & stored by our Airfield & Parachuting Organizations who will use it to contact participants for parachuting purposes, for technical, safety & research study, as well as passing it to the National Governing Body (NGB) for Parachuting in the UK – the British Parachute Association (BPA) who in addition to registering, and arranging insurance, for participants may also use the data for technical, safety & research studies.

1.3 If for any reason you communicate with our personnel or site we may collect information.

There are instances where we may use cookies to gather information regarding our services in a mathematical collection for our website and our advertisers.

Any information collected will not have any identifying data. It is statistical data about our visitors and how they have used our site.  No personal details will be shared that could identify you.

3.6 We do however reserve the right to use video and photos of you on our website and any printed promotional materials.

Therefore in participating it also needs to be accepted by participants, or in the case of 16 & 17 year olds or vulnerable adults their parents or guardians, that filming & photography may be taken on the ground, in aircraft and “In Air” for both training & marketing purposes, with images routinely posted on training, commercial & social media.

3.7 Personal information pertaining to insurance and customer information may be passed to our governing body, the British Parachute Association.

4.1 Information we are provided to the website will be stored on secure servers.  Transaction data is encrypted for your safety. Hard copy data is kept in our offices on site, it is occasionally transported by hand or post and is used at foreign DZ’s and is therefore not complete secure and may be seen by those handling the paperwork. If yo want absolute security of personal information such as addresses or hard copy credit card details then please don’t participate or pay in cash instead of using a card.

4.2 You should understand data via online transmission is not completely secure.  We cannot guarantee full protection and security data, only that we take all reasonable action to protect information sent to us electronically.  Transmission of any data by you is at your own risk.
